Together for ETERNITY!!!

When Michael and I got married we set a goal to be sealed in the Temple on our 1 year Anniversary. Waiting was the hardest part.. well so I thought.. We met and worked with our bishop in our new ward and he told us that it was defiantly an achievable goal. So then the waiting began. Not much we could do until about July- August. Well July came and we started working on the Invites and luncheon for afterwards.

August came and we scheduled the Temple for the 25th. Then the hard part began. We couldn’t seem to get a hold of our Bishop or the Ward Clerk to get our Templerecommends. The Bishop was out of town or the Ward Clerk NEVER had his cell phone or NEVER answered his email.. We were getting Discouraged and Knew that the Adversary was working against us.

But Finally Sunday September 18th.. less then a week until Temple Day we were able to talk to our Bishop and get the first of 2 interviews done. Now we had to wait until Wednesday to meet with the Stake President. When Wednesday came we called right at 6 to schedule our interviews. Because it was my first time going threw the Temple they wanted to schedule another appointment in a week or so to do what they called a “Special Evening”. Whatever that meant?!? But we didn't have another week. We had only 2 days. So they agreed to meet with us. Well we had never been to our stake center before so we went to a building thinking it was our stake center. We waiting for our turn and then when the member of the stake presidency came out to get us he looked out are papers an told us that only the Stake President could interview us and that he was out of town. WHAT?!?!

We told him that we called a scheduled an appointment and they never told us he was out of town. Well after further investigation, it turned out we were at the wrong building.. So after a LONG deep breath we made it to the RIGHT building. We met with the Stake President and got out Temple Recommends signed. I didn’t care if anything else went wrong after that. Michael and I were going to be sealed for TIME AND ALL ETERNITY and that’s all that matter!!

Both Friday and Saturday we WONDERFUL. And the Blessings of going to temple were overwhelming yet exciting. I’m glad that we set a goal and WE MADE IT!!!

Hiking and Natures Wonders!!!

Michael's family was down for a family Reunion and we had a few extra days with just them so we made the best of them and we went hiking.. I took them to a place a friend of mine showed me YEARS ago... after a few miss turns we found it... its a water fall and a small damn.. Its so pretty there.. We ate lunch a spend a few hours playing and exploring..

Trevor being silly...

Michael Freaking me out by looking over the edge and pretending to "Slide/Fall"

playing in the water..

Look closely and you'll see a chipmunk eating a chip..

WATERFALL!!!!

Michael Hiking with no shoes and realising that it wasn't as easy as he thought it would be..

Red, White, Blue and Carrie Underwood with a side of Fireworks

We had the best Seats for this years Stadium of Fire... Our Front Porch... We invited some family to join us as we watched Carrie Underwood and Fireworks.. It was a Blast eating pizza and hanging out while the kids (including Michael) ran around and lit off smoke bombs and flowers while waiting for the show to start..

We also Camped out with the Lambs for the Parade like we do every year... This year was Michael's first time and I was excited to share with him ALL the fun we have every year.. Also this year we were able to add a few more story's to add to our yearly story telling of things that have happened in years past. We had a run in with the Provo City police.. even the "Chief of Police" was involved.. In the end they were told by our higher up contact to leave us alone...

After all said and done we had a good time.. A little tired.. OK A LOT tired and sunburned but it was a blast and we can't wait until next year!!

Under The Sea...

Ryan, Becki, Shauna and the Kids invited Michael and I to go with them and some friends to the Aquarium in Sandy.
Of course we said yes!!!
Here are some pictures we took while we were there. We had TON's of fun with the kids... Seeing Michael play with the boys reminds me how much of a BIG kid he is himself... and of course I LOVE him for it...

There's an Alligator in there... You just have to look closely..

Playing around in the Kids area...

PENGUINS!!!!

Look It's that one from Happy Feet...

We even got to pet a sting ray... it was weird but very cool...

Star Fish.. To bad its not BLUE!!!

Michael and his GIANT Lobster....
All in All we had a GREAT time with family and friends.. We can't wait until the new Aquarium is built so we can go again...

Football FEVER!!!!!

Living across the street from the Stadium has many perks.. One knowing and hearing EVERYTHING that goes on at the stadium....
Which means being able to sneak in a watch the "Boys" practice.... Unfortunately my camera has been having issues lately so here are a few pictures of a practice some of my family and friends went to a couple of months ago... It's close enough to what I've been "sneaking" into the stadium to watch.. (Shhh! Don't tell anyone)

Zack and Klous had fun watching the Football team practice..

Michael, Zack and Klous "Cheese'n" it up while watch..
Michael and I (mostly me) are excited to see what this season will bring with lots of changes to the team and new talent on the rise..
RISE AND SHOUT...
GO COUGARS!!

ICE, ICE BABY!!!

Michael and I decided to go for a drive up Provo Canyon... I also wanted to show Michael that Utah has some pretty cool places to see... So I took him to the "Homestead" in Midway because They have this really cool Ice Thing every year. They just Spray water and it forms this Ice Tower like thing...

Here's Michael Trying to climb up the Ice...

I was trying to see if I could get my tongue to stick to it....

We also drove by Bridal Vail Falls. We stopped and walked around to check things out... It was so pretty and cool to see how the water has frozen, the water was still flowing down the Mtn.

If you look closely to the Middle right of this pic. you can see 3 people who climb up the water fall... They Must be Zoobies.. because only Zoobies would be that stupid...
